Try to use that meter in India. There are high voltage power lines running over homes, hospitals and what not. Studies have already shown that these are harmful however there is not a lot that we can do about it.

I did not know that high EM fields affected triglycerides.

When in tech school, we were cautioned about smoking under any high power lines as the ionized air increased your risk of creating a path to ground.

I do not know if that was true, but since I did not smoke I did not care too much.

Interesting.

When I was a Radio Technician we were constantly reminded about the effects of microwave.

At that stage they did not believe the body absorbed UHF frequencies, until a british study into the police were finding kidney failure from the position of their portable radios.

Depending on who you talk to, there are theories about the body absorbing and being affected by much lower frequencies and magnetic fields, so I guess there will always be data for one conclusion or the other.

Unfortunately any studies done now will always have the WiFi and Cellphone influence and it will be hard to have a baseline that hasn't been affected by these.
