I had used the CPC connector and mounted like you did, and see the pins are installed on the energized side. &lt;p&gt;I didnt use the D-1000 connectors that way because that connector side had pins, and a general&amp;nbsp;convention [ maybe only in my imagination ] , pins usually are used on the de energized side of the circuit, and sockets used on the energized side to prevent shorts on bent pins and a little more dummy proof to the users if they pop off connectors.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Your mounting is creative and functional, conventions are made to be broken,&amp;nbsp; :-)&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
