Also I liked your backwards engineering of the digital scale... Our friends at National did something similar by using parts from another product recently and weighted an eye lash.

Also checkout the Ultra-Low-Power Advisor ULP program. like to build”???

But… your grocery management system sounds interesting…. It would be interesting to see the refrigerator actually monitor the weight of the milk carton and tell you how much is left and provide a warning light or signal your smart-phone when the average consumption rate and current inventory won’t last through the weekend…

Also I got the image in my mind when reading this that we might get to see the inside of your refrigerator via a webcast and actually see how much milk is left :-)

You gave me an idea… a bar code reader where you scan the incoming products and once it is used scan it again as it hits the trash bin… could be a nice way to manage the grocery budget, see what’s in the refrigerator for dinner, even see how much of each thing is available for tonight’s recipe, and you could potentially use it to manage a diet plan or fitness program linked to your watch or smart-phone.

Interesting… I can’t wait to see more “butter on the bread”…

Cheers,
Shawn
