The old and new parts blend very well. Having a programmable brain like an Edison in a device like this does mean that you can expand its capabilities.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I do like Node-Red and the ability it gives to wire things flexibly.&amp;nbsp; If you can build your own components in NodeJS then you can extend on that giving a very powerful framework.
