I like the Frankenstein it is becoming. Using the servo to "lean" into a corner would be cool.

This stuff is really neat by the way (although it looks like you didn't actually need it for your particular gears):

It makes the superglue stick really well to some plastics, I used it on gears which I think were nylon, and it worked well.
