No graphics, no more fonts.

I am afraid that to change the mode may be more trouble.

I will keep the idea as plan B and keep trying with my original idea.

It is good to have such a backup option, but I am still according to plan, so let us see. I need more functions from the LCD library/driver.

Thanks anyway.

Konstantinos

RE: [Upcycle it Design Challenge] Embedded Web SDR client on Analog Radio Receiver #4: Software Challenges with Edison

@huzefa_nk@martinkronberg

I have a question for Edison.

I have a working LCD Library with Edison under Arduino IDE for Edison as I described in my post.

I want to make it work with UPM so I can use it from node.js . Is there someone to help me with that?

I have not seen some instruction recipe for such a case. This is a Library that already works with Edison using the SPI(Edison) Library included in the Intel software package for Arduino IDE. This is not a new "sensor" that I want to make it work with Edison. I just need to port it to XDK.

Thanks a lot in advance,

Konstantinos

RE: [Upcycle it Design Challenge] Embedded Web SDR client on Analog Radio Receiver #4: Software Challenges with Edison

Great post and lesson for all.

When using canned software make sure you duplicate the hardware setup exactly.

Once it is working you can experiment with changes, but make sure you have everything working first.

DAB

RE: [Upcycle it Design Challenge] Embedded Web SDR client on Analog Radio Receiver #4: Software Challenges with Edison

Well done.

Your persistance and dedication has paid off, and no doubt helped all the Edison Community.

Hopefully our two Intel judges can provide some sort of recognition.

[mention:2c507e11204c409fbe49e6865aac5270:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] [mention:cc5967bdc7084c488bdf10b2f8887a3a:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05]

Mark
