Sometimes you need to warm the soil before you can get good germination.

Great looking setup James. Very efficient use of space.

I saw where you mentioned the 915MHz network. Make sure you use the EZR32WG starter kit in the build as it is a requirement for the competition.

You are using a commercial 3 part hydroponics nutrient solution? Mabe a GenHydro product? I am considering an auto nutrient replenishment system if budget and time allow. That will require an EC/TDS sensor of some sort. Have you decided on a device or method for this? Also, are you considering automatics pH balancing as well?

Another thing I've read and found useful in my limited experimentation is a method for varying the lighting to plant distance.
