That's a very clever idea! I've been pondering a bit over how to use AAA's in an AA device, but I could try printing some tubes to house the cells in.

Hi Monte,

I just used a wooden dowel. I cut it to length, cut a groove along the side for wires and then used tacks as the contacts. It gave me the ability to run power to may digital camera from two D cells for extra time in taking long exposures.

I admit, if I had a 3D printer, I would have gone your route. I just wanted to share an alternative for all of the people who do not. Old school still has its uses.

That is very cool. I had an idea like that but I had no access to a 3D printer. I wanted to make a 4 pack of AA's, 2 Pack of AA's and what you did. That is very cool and I am very proud to see this done! Excellent work! This will make EVERYTHING Qi Powered!
