I will definately look into this design. I have become interested in experimenting with charging batteries from other energy sources, so your blog has hit at a very useful time.

Keep up the good work. All of you have provided a lot of useful information on both wireless and the issues of charging existing existing technology.

You've picked the new kid off the block when it comes to TI's Power management products.

Have you looked at the TPS65217b PMIC used by the beaglebone? It is impressive in its own way with lots of different regulated power outputs including a dedicated output for a RTC (Real Time Clock)!
