What, no duct tape?

Actually, I was surprised to see the plastic tape. Are you concerned about static electricity build up?

It is probably not an issue, but I have bad experiences with some electronics an ESD issues. Oh well, as long as it works.

This is way too complex... In my setup, I just bought a Powermat Power! Dual 1850 Rechargeable Battery Backup that comes with a powermat for $10 (clearance sale at Staples) and plugged it to my Raspberry. The battery pack is continuously charging while still powering my Raspberry, and if I need to move my raspberry, I take it out of the mat and it will be working for 2 to 4 hours when powered by the battery... and before the battery dries up, I'll just place it on the mat and the Raspberry will still be working...

Isn't the wireless charger base still wired to the outlet? Hasn't the R-Pi footprint gotten bigger because of it?

You might want to look into using Magnetic Resonance power transfer, like Witricity uses. http://www.element14.com/community/message/21719#21719/l/teslas-wireless-energy-transfer-a-new-reality-almost-available

You could add a $150+ USD wireless HDMI adapter to the Pi.

The price of a tidy room is high.

Chad, that is awesome!

I love the QiPi. hehe. I am in the process of building the same exact thing, hehe. I'm thinking of putting a battery pack on the bottom of the pi and charging the batteries wirelessly. Now that I see you got the receiver inside the case, I really really like it. Super cool!
