I wonder if you painted the keyboard case. If so, what color did you use? I am currently working on an SX-64 keyboard that was cracked by the post in transit. I restored the exterior with the leftovers I recovered from the package the SX-64 came in.

I glued the pieces back on and sanded the outside. Now I am looking for the right color of paint to get the housing neat again. Is it a certain color of a certain car make? Please provide some information about this. Thank you!

I enjoyed watching this restoration. Does the keyboard now work as you did not indicate this? It would be a shame to go to all this effort for it to still be not working.
