Welcome to the element14 community and to the contest. Sitting like in front of a camera and microphone is a special form of torture for me and then viewing/listening to the result is 10 times worst. Keep trying, focus on what you love, talk about what you know and the rest can work out.

That's a nice wrist-light! Kids love lights from what I've seen too : )

Another project you might be interested in, is to get a clear but red LED, (not all work, but HLMP-EG15-UX000 does, i.e. ideally water-clear LED, with narrow field of view) and just glue it or pop-rivet it onto card or plastic.

The aim is to make the anode end (the left side in the photo) easy to hold with a finger, and the other side is folded over the edge of the card or plastic. Then, they can rub balloons and stuff, and see the LED flicker when they bring it near.
