If that does not work, unplug the hard drive SCSI Cable. The Mac should show a floppy with a blinking question mark. If so, then the hard drive is the problem. If not, then the analog board for the CRT has failed or the Logic board has failed

I hope you get the mac working.

RE: Episode 132: Ben Tears Down a Mac Classic Episode

You can also download the classic MacOS (up to 7.5.3 I think) directly from Apple. Here is a great link to use: Classic Mac OS Downloads and Updates | Low End Mac

I have a modded classic with a RaspberryPi inside with a LCD screen. I would love to have some help modding the RaspberryPi to make it look like it is running the old Mac OS.... Please PM me if you have any suggestions.

RE: Episode 132: Ben Tears Down a Mac Classic Episode

Did I spot fine horizontal bars on startup or was that the camera? If you have the Mac's keyboard, just turn it on and hold down Command-Option-X-O (the Command key is the one with the Apple). Every Mac Classic had a boot disk embedded in ROM, complete with System 6.0.3, as a sort of easter egg.
