I would like to see a transcript as well I am hearing impaired and find them very useful. Also if you need to search the transcripts can help you spell out what you want to research.

If you're watching via YouTube, just use the Closed Caption (CC) button at the bottom right of the player window (see attached image). The translations to other languages for the CC are typically done via the locale the video is played from. If you need a transcript to just read it at your own leisure, then that would be a different animal. Based on the OP, just using the CC on the YouTube videos should suffice.

I think thats a good idea, also non native english speakers (like me) would have an easier life.

But this also sounds like a build for ben:

A device for the hearing imparerd that could recognize speech -> then type it out on a screen and store the data for later use.
