i would want this device because im in 8th grade and teaching a mini class for my 8th grade challenge in my own school and i think it would be realy cool to show some of my students what the raspberry pi does so they would want to use the raspberry pis we already have

I had ordered a ModelB+ Raspberry pi and when booting it for the first time, I noticed the ethernet connector and the USB-ports were not working. I had to go back to the store I bought it from (unfortunately I bought it online and had to drive 150km to get there). When I arrived at home again I immediately started exploring. At the moment, I haven't got a single regret of driving that far to start building. I'm currently trying some simple and easy projects and really enjoying it! If I win the board of this contest, I'll have a better and 4 TIMES FASTER working card. I can't wait to get my hands around that!!!

One day, I hope to make a living 'playing' with sensors, switches, resistors,....

It's big fun!!!

I would use the kit to get my two oldest daughters interesting in electronics and building their own stuff. It would be a cool way to educate and have a bonding moment with them.

Ah, Ben I finally remembered the main project I would like to build.

fun fact, my wife is from WI.

My sons love to sing. (both less than 4yrs old)

I would love to use the pi as the brains for a "song board."

Imagine a sheet of plywood about a foot wide, and 4 feet high, leaning against their bedroom wall.

It is covered in arcade buttons.

When they push a button, it plays a song, a song that was recorded when my larger family got together and sang.

perfect meld of tech, fun family project, & music.

I've wanted to build this project. I don't have the resources as of now, but hope to build this one soon. The overview is to mount a pi on a quadrotor which will act as a cloud to capture videos and images for general purposes.

well, my dad has been asking me to get him a media center that allows him to watch movies and TV. That's what I'll use it for. I'm also thinking of installing retropie on another sd card and switching between the two cards to function as two completely different systems

This is what I need, I would love to make a media center for my game room to be able to stream videos, music and pictures to entertain my guest. This would be my very first Raspberry Pi Project and a nice addition to my game room. Thanks for the opportunity to win this kit.

Hey, great show and congratulations

I would use it to set up a media center for my 84 year-old grandfather who loves technology but it has an old tv. We never miss any of your episodes. (I have to translate your explanations into spanish but i'ts funny). Here is a picture of the tv, it doesn't have a remote control!

I would turn it into a DLNA server and stream my media from the raspberry pi to my other devices.
