This looks awesome! I can't wait to see how the projector works out. I thought doing one as well, but didn't have the confidence to attempt it within the two weeks.

Dude, you got yourself quite the project..

..tap on my own shoulder for correct guessing you bought that projector for the contest.

As Makers always support each other:

for your Audio path selection, you can simply use a 3,5mm stereo jack with a built in switch, pressing in the plug makes two prongs in the inside contact each other. When these hit, the audio will feed over the jack.

While there is no plug inserted, the audio will go straight to the speakers. that jack is a commonly available part in hifi stores.
