&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve always taken an interest in antennas and radio wave propagation. However, I&amp;#39;ve never spent the time to understand how the wiggling of electrons in a wire can produce RF radiation. So in this theory-based episode we touch on antenna physics, show how a dipole antenna radiates RF and we demonstrate how that RF behaves with a receive antenna. Of course where I need some help - we call in an expert, Sterling Mann who works in the field of RF. In the next application-based episode, we&amp;#39;ll build our own antenna and use it to communicate around the globe.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;ve always taken an interest in antennas and radio wave propagation. However, I&amp;#39;ve never spent the time to understand how the wiggling of electrons in a wire can produce RF radiation. So in this theory-based episode we touch on antenna physics, show how a dipole antenna radiates RF and we demonstrate how that RF behaves with a receive antenna. Of course where I need some help - we call in an expert, Sterling Mann who works in the field of RF. In the next application-based episode, we&amp;#39;ll build our own antenna and use it to communicate around the globe.&lt;/p&gt;
