When your video launches we will support it with Social Media and paid advertising to ensure it gets the attention it deserves. How Do I Get Started as a Video Content Partner (VCP)? Complete this Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) , sign it, scan it and email it to tbhs@element14.com. Why an NDA? What type of information is likely to be disclosed or discussed that requires the NDA? element14 considers the very nature of our Video Content Program to be a strategic differentiator in the electronics industry. One of the things that the NDA covers is how the VCP program works. The NDA would also cover things like new product introductions. If we asked you to do a video on a product before it’s commercially released, we would be giving you that product and information in confidence. Will matters considered confidential be explicitly labeled as such, or do I need to assume anything discussed from the point of signing as confidential? Even with a degree in Computer Science, Lorraine was never interested in electronics until she attended a Raspberry Pi training session for educators called Picademy. That event opened Lorraine's eyes to electronics, and introduced her to a new love: LEDs, which have since become one of the focuses of the many projects she's built. In 2020, she wrote her first book: " Save the World with Code: 20 Fun Projects for All Ages Using Raspberry Pi, micro:bit, and Circuit Playground Express " in paperback, which was published by McGraw-Hill and is on sale today. Since I can remember, I've been hacking and making stuff, not to be confused with breaking toys, as it may have looked from the outside. My dad gave me a small set of screwdrivers when I was in elementary school; I would love to open each toy car I could find, modding them by adding additional batteries using scotch tape and pieces of wire I had found. During high school, back in 2015, I got my first Arduino which additionally sparked my interest in electronics and robotics. After that, I started my studies in electrical engineering while trying to do as many projects as I could along the way, anything from drones, rovers and so on. I was already working with electronics as a child before I made it my profession at a later age. As a teenager, I messed around with analog electronics and HAM radio’s, building receivers and doing TV repairs to pay for my hobby. After graduation, I worked as a TV repairman but not very long after that, I ended up in my current job as an Electronics Engineer. I learned that ‘The Youtube Academy’ holds a treasure of knowledge for whoever is willing to watch. I found it to be a good reason to start my own channel on Youtube and my first release was a video about an amazing Spectrum Analyzer that was reasonably big in size as it was made with acrylic tiles. During the next two years, I published more video’s about spectrum analyzers and the best part is that all of them are open source. The original unit is 1m wide and later redesigned to 40cm wide. All my projects are open source with over 100 people replicating this project. 64 channel spectrum analyzer - Using the HUB75 displays as a spectrum analyzer that can show from 8 to 64 channels. The challenge is writing the Arduino code and figuring out the FET analysis. Twin Audio Visualizer - I found ways to drive 2 displays at a high speed while simultaneously completing FFT analysis.
