Pi Pico 7 Segment Multiplexing

I have seen a few examples of using the RP2040's PIO state machine to do 7 segment display multiplexing. I think that's a great use of the PIO state machine. Here is one example project (not my project):

Just a quick question.

I've submitted this project for the 7-segment's Project14 contest - 7-segments project | Mission: Impossible | Geocaching Cache

Thank you by the way for including it on the examples - but since it's not on the Blog section of the 7-segments display, I was wondering.
