When a person does a project like this you never know but that you might be the inspiration for a future electronics engineer. It was an excellent project and I bet it was well received.

That looks like great fun.

What happens if you have a figure-of-eight for the line? Does the robot make it across where the lines meet each time or does it get sidetracked?

Great project Dubbie, I'd never really looked at how this was done before, LDR-LED combination sounds like a good approach.
