What a suberb library! Just love it. Thanks for sharing it.

I want to use this to update my clock that curerntly uses 8*8 led displays but I have a problem.....

I am using an Elegoo 2.8TFT screen, and although I get get it to work perfectly with the Uno and Adafruit Lib, when I try to use a Mega - nothing!

The Elegoo Lib examples work fine with the Mega - but no the Adafruit examples.

Anyone shed any light on the reasons why?

This monitor is handy to do a design experiment with the RPi temperature, and ways to keep it reduced.

The design variables are:

open air cooled VS RPI in an enclosure ( and also size of enclosure)

heat sink VS no heat sink

convection cooled VS forced air

My experience is heat sinks do help, but in a small enclosure, the heat sinks only help to heat the enclosure faster. The enclosure needs alot of vents or a small fan,, and needs to direct fresh cooler air to the CPU.

A small fan blowing directly on CPU helps alot, even without heat sinks.

Wow, I spent a long time until I managed to get the Arduino Mini out without breaking the box, despite the impatience of my children.

The pitch of the female headers is really small, 0.05", or 1.27 mm. , the pins of the Dupont 2.54mm connectors fit well, but two Dupunt connectors will not fit on two adjacent pins.
