Very creative, guys! Just an observation: you could change the pitch of the sound clips by +half an octave, so it would sound even more cute. You can do it easily with a freeware software like Audacity.

You could perhaps hide the sensor in the white of the eye, or perhaps rework the bow and incorporate it into the centre of that.

Another idea would be to add some white hands either side (a bit like the 'hug' cushions) and then place the sensor in the palm of one of them.
