The same goes for Internet wiring the &amp;quot;main switch has nodes, which go to the room controller as well, which also contains a small switch. In a large house, I switch to CAN over Ethernet. You will need a media converter, as you will have to use the higher protocol CANaerospace. the protocol converter can be nothing more than a Raspberry Pi and a Java program to handle the stacks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="font-family:georgia, palatino;font-size:19px;"&gt;I never mix types of signals on my Ethernet system in other words VOip and IP is a no-no as a busted phone can bring down your network. This also goes for any CAN over Ethernet as well, and while we are at it let&amp;#39;s keep the video off Ethernet and put it on RJ-6. BTW did you notice the black tie wraps or cable ties?? Huge No-No! &lt;p&gt;Perhaps you&amp;#39;re also using &lt;a href="https://www.myfitnesspal.com/"&gt;MyFitnessPal &lt;/a&gt;where you&amp;#39;re logging how much and what you eat each day and have access to its &lt;a href="https://myfitnesspalapi.com/"&gt;API&lt;/a&gt;, you perhaps thought you were doing well in keeping this in check.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And for fun, you have your Arduino, connected up to your treat box. It controls whether or not it&amp;#39;s open or closed.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;See where this is going?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From a bit of logic, from trends in your API, it communicates with your Arduino to decide whether or not you should have that treat today. Maybe it could be detailed enough to keep a log of what kind of treats are in there and how many calories they are, and integrate with your fitbit &lt;a href="https://www.fitbit.com/dev"&gt;api &lt;/a&gt;to determine if you&amp;#39;ve burned off enough?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It&amp;#39;s that level of smarts and intelligence from integrating things together that perhaps, are just crazy enough to be sensible.&lt;/p&gt;
