Portenta H7 Board	Arduino Tiny Machine Learning Kit

Putting the farm animals out to pasture

On a 12x12 piece of plywood, I am constructing a farm scene for an HO scale model train layout.

The scene is of a farm yard fenced-in enclosure that has pigs, sheep, cows and chickens. The animals in the scene are showing animation. Pig heads move, cow tails swish and chicken peck at the ground. Besides the animal movement, there are animals sounds.

The scene sits inside a portable model train layout. I take the layout to train shows for public demonstrations. We provide push buttons for the public to trigger the animations.

I suspect the contest critics will call this an animation more than an automation. Maybe he is automating the movement of a cow’s head? One of the design goals is to make the electronics visible to the public. The electronic display can be an example of another way to become involved in model railroading.

After reading the following description of the Arduino Uno Mini, “Everything in this version of the Arduino UNO is unique. A little jewel to celebrate the Arduino community and what we’ve been doing together for all these years.” I thought the Uno Mini would be the ideal device to have on display to the public.

There's a lot of home automations projects already here so for this crazy automation i'd focus on making a productivity hack(automation) where I get to do more with my spare time. Usually a lot of my spare time goes randomly scrolling social media sites and YouTube instead of doing more beneficial tasks like reading or stretching where when done consistently add up in the long term. Right now my solution is a self-made desktop app that blasts me with notifications and pauses my keyboard for a few minutes and while that's effectively prevents me to use my pc, I still have my phone to browse with. Another issue is that I also use my laptop for work and projects and it bothersome to receive alarms when you are fully engaged and in turn you lose that momentum. So I thought I'd make a smart beeper, one that I can place near my workplace or around the house that informs me when to pause even when I'm not using a computer. I'd like to also have the opportunity to make a simple scheduling app where I can tell my beeper to move my pause when I need to up to say, 2-3 times. Any of the boards could work with my use case but I think the nicla me sense board is the best fit as it already has sensors where I can add functionality (accelerometers to check if I'm actually stretching for example) and a Bluetooth module to connect with my smartphone and keep track of my tasks and pauses thru a mobile app.

The Arduino Tiny ML learning kit looks pretty sweet, something to consider for enhancing this crazy Arduino project, as a phase 2 concept.

Concept phase is complete, parts ordered and accumulated, beginning the initial build of the phase 1 prototype of the:

WRONGCO Hamper Helper.

If it's WRONGCO , it's gotta be just right.

Hi! I will use the Arduino MKR 1010 board to create a self-watering system for my plants. I will use the board to trigger a signal everyday that allows the plants to be watered when required. A moisture meter will be needed for this.

I am currently studying to become an electronics engineer so I believe this project will give me some great hands-on experience with microcontrollers.

I want to implement RubberDucky in Aurdino. RubberDucky basicly automates the process of cracking the mobile phone pin in order to unlock mobile phone. This can even be used by the user to crack it's mobile phone passcode pin in case he have forgotten the passcode pin.

Related (and compatible) to my entry into the raspberry science design challenge:

"Smart Environmental Analyzer and Wildlife Guardian"

Using the Nicla Sense ME board, you can create a comprehensive environmental monitoring and wildlife protection system. This system would be capable of tracking various environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, air quality, and even detecting human or animal presence using the onboard sensors.

The Arduino Uno Mini is certainly cute and perhaps a bit too pretty to be actually used in any serious project. Perhaps it can be the centerpiece for an LED sequencer to light up a picture frame containing the board itself as a "shrine" to Arduino.

Work on Machine Learning Project with tensorflow lite on MCU, use visualized data to detect the object and try to move towards it. The camera catcher picture frame and feeds into tensorflow lite SSD object detection model to find whether the object is available with vision scope.

I thing Portenta H7 Board is capable of such task. BeforeI could find the Portenta Carrier board for camera connection, I shall used DCIM camera module to catch video. That would be one interesting project.

I love birds. Some birds species in my locality are endangered. I want to do some ting for birds. I have a plan to make a smart bird house that will be controlled and monitored remotely. I want to monitor the temperature, humidity, sound, air quality, air pressure and gesture of a bird house for understanding the nature and comfort of the birds. I want to control the temperature and humidity inside the bird house artificially for a comfortable living. Cats, squirrels and snakes are the main predators for birds, their eggs and young ones. Machine learning can helps to early detect of predators attack and take action accordingly to save the bird nest. I want to use vision base cat, squirrel and snake detector to close the nest/house door automatically to protect the house and birds from the predators. Sound analysis can also give important information about danger. I will use Edge Impulse for machine learning and living object detection.
