Great project, Dubbie.

I've got loads of TTL and CMOS logic chips from years and years ago........keep wondering if they'll ever come in useful again??

Now you need to trigger something to persuade the cats to beat a hasty retreat.

What a great project, Dubbie!

I have a load of those logic chips too which are mostly sitting unused.

I recently learned that TI is marketing their small and inexpensive MSP430 chips as kind of a replacement for logic chips like that too. Like you could program it to replace the 7447 decoder, for example. Next you need to add a camera to see what is out there!
