I think the PCB ends could be an interesting experiment. May be a 45⁰ angle?

Great post and interesting to see the iterations you went through.0805 is a good size to target as it’s still usable for home soldering, although I do need nerd goggles with 2.5x lenses! It will be interesting to see how these progress.

Nice designs. Interesting to see your design process, moving from design to design with an incremental improvement. I find that I can just so close on a 3D design, until I need to enter the print, redesign and repeat loop to get to the final design. (Funny but as I type my printer is working away on a lighting fixture part that will likely be going through the exact same process).

I wonder if you could create a PCB to act as the contact points for a pair of 4-wire probe tips and attachment point for the pairs of leads?
