Yes, you just cannot fix the R^2 distance separation issue with none contact EM power distribution.

Sorry about all the extra time the project cost you but from my point of view it was worth it. It was awesome and if I saw a temperature display like this on the retail market I would buy it. As Frank already indicated your presentation was really well done.
