The theme this month is Electronic Art and it comes from an idea from fmilburn . Its an idea that is inspired by all the great projects that you submitted in the PiCasso Design Challenge as well as a lecture on freeform circuitry he was fortunate to attend by Mohit Bhoite (embedded below). This challenge invites you to use free form circuitry to create circuit sculptures that interact with your surroundings. Or use a board of your choice such as a Raspberry Pi, an Arduino, or a micro:bit to create something beautiful. fmilburn has already created a couple of projects that are great examples of electronic art. There is the Screaming LM386: An Audio Amplifier with PCB Art project that he produced for the Acoustics challenge and Rosie Learns to Solder which he did in honor of the badass women engineers video talent contest from element14 presents. He also participated in the PiCasso challenge where he produced PiCasso Adapting Art to Viewers. Some other examples of great projects from the PiCasso challenge that also fit this theme include Art-a-Tronic by balearicdynamics , PiMassive by gam3t3ch , Hologram Pi-ramid by luislabmo, Colorful Rotating Chinese Lantern by wesee, POV Globe by dwinhold , 9 Pieces of Pi by jc2048 , and Kinetic Art Mobile by genebren .

Your project can involve freeform circuitry, "dead-bug" style circuitry, circuit sculptures, flywiring, PCB art, interactive hanging installations, camera vision, interactive wall art, room lighting control, sound and effects, and anything that pushes the boundaries of creativity to make something beautiful that adds aesthetic value to your surroundings. Freeform circuitry which goes under many names is a technique that's been around for awhile. Mohit Bhoite, whose lecture on freeform circuitry is the inspiration for this contest, is a senior hardware engineer Particle and an electronics sculptor by night. You can view his lecture here:

Be Original	Stick to the Theme
You could come up with a clever name that make's your project memorable! This project is your baby! Part of the fun of bringing something new into the world is coming up with a name. Your project could introduce something new or that is not commercially available or affordable!	If you have an idea for a project that doesn't fit the current theme then submit your idea in the comments section of the monthly poll.
List the Steps	Submit Video Proof
Provide the steps you took to complete your project (text, video, or images). This could be a step by step how-to-guide, vlog, schematics, coding, napkin drawings, voice narration, or whatever you think will be useful!	If it doesn't work that's fine, this is more about the journey than the end product. A short video is all that is required but you can shoot as much video as you like. You are encouraged to be creative and have as much fun as possible!
