I liked your idea and presentation. Why choose microbial power as opposed to solar? Will this technology be limited to temperate areas and low altitude areas where the ambient temperature remains above 0 C? Do you have an alternative to microbial for the areas where the temps drop below 0C?

This is a very interesting project. I couldn't work out what powers the cluster heads and gateways though. Do they not need to be power continually to be able to receive from the sensors and forward the data?
