The person sensors look interesting, thanks for sharing, will have to try them out sometime.

The pir sensor has a really wide detection angle, the ultrasonic is about 15 degrees, that may influence your selection. Not sure about tof sensor, in my experience take more effort to work.

Looks like you got it all lit up just in time for Christmas. It's looking great.

Six LEDs looks about right for that size of tree I think.

Hiding the wiring is always tricky, especially at that scale. Fibre-optics as a light pipe might be another way of doing it - keep the LEDs in the base, then run fibre-optic strands up the back of the tree trunk, then follow the branches and terminate in a translucent bauble which then lights up.
