Hi Ralphjy, I'm trying to revive a commercial implementation of the same pong chip. I've never worked with Zener diodes before and this console has 6! Aside from the voltage, can you tell me the specs of your diodes. And do you know if there is tolerance in using the wrong ones?

Hmmmm, just found this! I too have the E14 breadboard, and I also have a nice (unused) 5000mAh IKEA Findla battery pack lying around. 10mm thick seems about right, I now need to check!

Very interesting project, I did something similar broadcasting FM radio. Is your code available? Have you tryed to broadcast video (maybe at low resolution)?

Looks like a useful project. Your diagram makes it look like on of the switch positions shorts the battery output to ground. I'm hoping that's just a mistake in the diagram rather than your circuit.

Interesting stuff. I have been working on a couple of different DMX projects for clients, including both DMX transmitters (controlling single/multiple lights based on motion detection) and receivers (decoding DMX and driving multiple LEDs and Servos). This has been a fun and profitable niche for me that I plan to continue to work on.

I find you approaches clever and really appreciate your fearlessness in jumping in and building what you need/want.
