Charlie Kat needs an upgrade to his (somewhat failed) treat dispenser of many years ago.

Will you be sharing the STL files for the 3D printed parts?

ps, I found my much less refined project from 5 years ago. I think the "hardware" is still in the basement somewhere. Charlie never did learn to press the mouse button. Great project, Frank. Like Gene, I've always wanted to build a cat feeder but my wife has always been dubious of the idea!

I love your 3 D printed parts - wish I had a printer!

Thanks for showing how relatively easy it is to use NTP - something I'm contemplating at the moment.

A great project and well finished too. I like the look of the final assembly and I liked the 3D printed parts as well. I am also interested in the heat fixed brass insert. Any chance of a bit more information and maybe a demo video on how this was done? I usually just use a nut and bolt through the parts to be assembled but then you get that sometimes unsightly 'end-of-bolt' issue. I was looking at one project yesterday thinking that very thing - how could I get rid of those sticky up end-of-bolts.

Very nice project! I had always wanted to build a cat feeder, but alas I no longer have need for one.

Great selection of 3D printed parts as well as the used of a PVC tee. Everything looked like it worked well.

What brand/type of inserts did you use? I have had a note on my whiteboard to look into thread inserts for awhile now, but I still have not decided on any.
