An astonishing construction, especially the use of cardboard. Using servo controlled spot lights is a good idea. Something I might try sometime.

It would take a true craftsman to make such a nice Holiday Machine but to make one primarily from cardboard it take a Master Craftsman. Thank you for always brings us the joy of your builds and showing us that we do not need 3D Printers and CNC machines to express creativity. This is a really great project! I could see something like this being featured in the Mechanical Art and Design Museum (https://themadmuseum.co.uk/ ) in Stratford Upon Avon in the UK. They are always on the lookout for things like this.

That is a great project, and as you usually manage, plenty of fun.

It looks like you've made the whole scenario from corrugated cardboard. Are the teeth on the cog also the cardboard with the outer layer of paper stripped off?
