I have seen this type of robot motion before but never actually made one. Your example has increased my interest in this approach so I now might consider this for a future robot. I liked the way you used existing materials to make the chassis. I have tried this a number of times but not with much success so I think yours is very impressive. It does look quite chunky though and heavy - which is always a problem with mobile robots.
