I really liked this project, it is simple yet achieves complex outcomes. Congratulations on winning. I was particularly impressed with the small geared motors that you used. I have been having motor problems with my robots so I think I will have to look into the type you used more seriously.

Another great project. How is the wear between the plastic and the pivot bolts? Did you consider installing some bushings or is the plastic hard enough to withstand the wear?

I can see why you have so many sheets of patterns at the end, because it is addictive watching all the designs being created : )

Also love the sketches, you and Jan are good at those for documenting your projects. It's a really lovely project, neat idea and well-executed.

That's some wild drawings. Is there any way of knowing before drawing what shape you will end up with? Also, what sort of pens do you use? I've tried getting motorised movement of pens before but just couldn't get the pens to stay on the paper all the time.
