Neat.

I've looked at the odd project I did many years ago and just shake my head.

Some things shouldn't see the light of day ...

So the big question is ... did your son venture into Engineering.?

That is a really cool project!

Pretty neat what you can do with such a small microcontroller!

Have you considered using an ESP-8266 (very small, with WiFi) or ESP-32 (adds Bluetooth) for a brain now? This is an interesting robot!! Hehe that was the smallest microcontroller robot brain : ) it almost seems cruel its creator deliberately limited its abilities 16 years ago : )

Looking forward to seeing what design choices you make on the updated version and how it works out.
