I had accumulated quite a few "dead" ones & decided to put the meter on them. Most of them still read over 1.1V. I tried them - 3 at a time - in an LED candle. Two lots of 3 both still had enough energy left in them to run the candle for about 50 hours each. Currently running on the the 3rd batch of 3!

Neil

RE: DMX diagnostics tool - And the wheels come off the bus!

Nicely recovered, Gene. I really like your use of the universal case system (UCS) which was primarily designed to make it as easy as possible to modify the enclosure by having the 4 flat sides and the top and base being exactly the same physical shape.

Farnell have been a superb partner for us in getting our range of enclosures into the global marketplace and when we first developed a case to house Raspberry Pi's they were first on our priority list to cover the product ranges.

To help others get an overview of the UCS series I've uploaded a video showing the product family which has continued to expand since this video was made. As an example we have one that takes a Raspberry Pi 3B & 3B+ with the 7" official touchscreen which is shown in the image below. It's available in 2 colours, grey and black, and is pre-milled for the Pi and screen. It comes with glue dot screw posts for the Pi and glue strips for the screen and has loads of room for expansion.

Thanks again for using our products and I look forward to seeing the finished product on a future post from you.

[View:https://players.brightcove.net/1362235890001/NkxiVJdjx_default/index.html?videoId=6163050143001:740:466] [View:/resized-image/__size/730x496/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-0d9953e0-67e9-43a7-a5d2-528affc61219/contentimage_5F00_206984.png:730:496]
