I am interested in both GSM and GPS and know very little about either so your work has provided me with some good insight. I am interested in the battery life, I assumed that the GSM and GPS both use considerable currents, do you have any figures for this? Do you think it would be possible to put these systems to sleep and then just wake them up once an hour in order to save power?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I&#39;m going to see how much the MKRGSM is now - hopefully not too expensive. (From Farnell it is £53 plus VAT, which I think is a bit too much for me.
