Nano 33 Timer Interrupt Example?

My Google-Foo is coming up empty on finding a working example using a timer interrupt on the Nano 33 IOT. I'm finding a lot of stuff for the UNO, but its a different chipset and won't compile.

When I search in the managed libraries of the Arduino IDE, I come up empty as well.

Anyone have a working timer example? I'd like to simply call a function every X milliseconds.

Thanks, Gene. Digging around that post and the links ultimately got me to a compatible timer library which is in the Arduino IDE. Originally made for the Arduino Zero, it has examples that can be readily blended into Nano 33 IoT code.

It seemed to me that there are a bunch of generic functions in the Arduino IDE for timers and interrupts, but I can see where you need specific control over registers to really make this work.
