Your go box is a nice pelican case, all protected and cozy.

My vision was to build a go box that could be used as a base station, and with a quick unplug of an outlet and antenna, close the covers, I could be on my way, including the station PC.

I was thinking a Multicomp pro flight case could be a start to that concept https://www.newark.com/multicomp-pro/555-19502/shallow-abs-19-rackmount-flight/dp/48Y8204

but need to engineer shelves and a way to bolt down the equipment to those shelves.

Have you seen others use that approach ?

Nice build.

You can now pick up and go to a remote location with a backup plan when the batteries get low.

I love the way the radio looks in its case... so cool that you communicated with the International Space Station.
