After short break I am back and today I will show my project contribution to the competition Off-the-Grid Project14 competition . In this blog I will show outputs of my work that consumed most of my free time in recent three

RE: Mini Solar Powered Wireless Temperature Sensor

EDIT 2023-07-03:

I fixed wrong description of initial clock of MCU (thanks [mention:c20f43d074634ad58fe82a5d320c7fbe:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] for pointing this mistake). Following sentence

.... At first powerup of MCU it starts with default 16MHz clock and is quite a power hungry before I reconfigure clock to some slower and let MCU sleep. ....

was replaced by:

.... At first powerup of MCU, it starts with default clock (MSI prescaled to 2.097 MHz) which is faster than clock later used by my firmware (MSI prescaled to 0.524 MHz). Before clock reconfiguration, MCU consume more energy than later in execution time after reconfiguration. ....

I fixed missing manufacturer in the BOM table of first solar pannel entry. Manufacturer of solar panel which I use (AM-1417CA) is Panasonic.

Just a remark regarding the MCU restart clock (STM32L053) which is not the HSI source, but actually the MSI in with default range 2.097MHz.
This is stated in RM0367 section 7.2.3 MSI clock.

RE: Mini Solar Powered Wireless Temperature Sensor

Nice post.

You have a good starting point to collect data and see how the circuit works over time.
