Hi [mention:193ac2434c814a24b46635a2210baec1:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05], I had been considering something similar to this to be used for watch repair. Do you have a download link for the 3D files? I did not see one, though I may have overlooked it.

I have seen watchmakers suggest various models of stereo microscopes from AmScope, but they tend to be around $350 - $500+
Where as I already have a 3D printer + pi 3B I'd like to try this design / BOM for $150 & see where that gets me.

In your section "Internal Working of Oscilloscopes" you have copied verbattim an article describing Digital Storage CRT Oscilloscopes from:

In it's original context this diagram and description makes sense (although it contains errors which you have faithfully reproduced) but it is worth noting that modern digital osciloscopes do not work like this.

I think that at the very least you should update your references, but should also consider if the extent of your "quoting" of other people's work is within reasonable and legal bounds.

I had a similar idea, but fitting the camera to a full microscope.

What is the model of the digital microscope and what is the focal length at usable magnification for soldering (4x to 10x)?
