That's a really good idea!

I might have to setup something like that to test my Trillium trailer lights. I had in mind something much more crude involving push buttons.

Nice setup there, unfortunately 'aftermarket' LED auto lamps are often a bit dodgy here in the UK, (most are marked as 'for off road use only), It doesn't stop some of us installing them though.

A reliable way to test is always a massive help - especially when you can simulate all 'real world' conditions for all possible scenarios.

No funky brake/indicator setup over here though, combined 21/5W Brake/Tail lights yes, but no hassle with flashing them as indicators though.

Interesting project. It seems like a lot of work for trailer lights, but then what engineer could resist doing a lot of work just to prove that it could be done.
