Wow this is a very interesting project. That's a very good use of the ArUco markers. Infact, for applications where you need very good reliability on detection, using such makers will give you much more reliable results compared to most other approaches.

Thanks for sharing yet another interesting project!

Very interesting project!

Interestingly, someone asked about such a thing a couple of years ago just before coronavirus. Apparently in shared workspaces, people are keen to know how frequently locker doors are opened/closed and which ones. There's reasons for it. Anyway, a camera based solution such as this is very cool : )

This looks interesting. I'm always wanting to know if any of my windows are open when I go out. Not sure I'd put this information on the internet though.
