A really great project. I especially like the stylised mountain especially as it is something I might even be able to make myself - I'm no woodworker. I also liked the hacking/re-use of the IR controller. I have a couple of simple IR controllers so I might have to have a go at decoding those in order to use them for other purpose.

I also liked the Blynk description. I have vaguely heard of this before but your explanation made it seem easy so I might have to have a go at that as well. So many things to try out!

I really enjoyed reading about your project. You did a great job. Thanks for the tip about not testing the LEDs while still on the spool.
