The print is taking almost 3 days to finish (reducing infill was not really an option since we want some rigidity), it is quite a big thing, but I want to print the ball joint in one piece.

It should be finished by tonight...

The biggest risk on failing is when it starts printing the ball joint... cross fingers...

Is there a video of this device in action? I have tried making a ping pong ball shooter before using a DC motor, with almost no success. There seems to be a sweet spot for all these mechanisms that can be quite difficult to locate.
