First I see you used a 7805 voltage regulator for the power source, can I make my own voltage regulator with power mosfets to preform the same function? I also see you said you used a sd5400 which is quad n channel fet array. I also wanted to ask if I can use something like 4 RFP30N06LE's in parallel. I read that I could replace the dual channel op amp for something else so I might try a design with an NE5532 or TDA2822 in kicad. I'm just using your schematics as a template for a quadrature demodulator and wanted to know if some of these changes make sense with what your original plan with this project was since I am new to RF circuits as a whole. I plan on using this design for a SDR based transceiver using a teensy 4.1 micro controller for the ADC conversion and I/Q signal processing since I've seen some projects already using it for an SDR set up. Just wanted to ask some of those questions.

Sorry I just saw this, so the response is a year late : ( I'm sure you've moved on, but just so there is an answer here: The board is available from any PCB supplier (eg. JLCPCB), by uploading the file that is attached to the blog post: It is quite cheap, a few $ for the board and shipping if the slowest shipping option is selected. Regarding the drive to the mixer, it is a square wave (created by the 7474 with quadrature signals). The input to the board needs to ideally be a square wave too, although some misshapenness is OK there. The input to the board should ideally be 5V logic levels (a signal generator, or a Si5351 chip can be used, but the latter will need a buffer circuit to create 5V logic levels; the default 3.3V output from Si5351 won't be sufficient. The circuit below would do the job).

Nice! If there isn't already a 3-box widget showing on the home page for this group, to display the document, you will need to get someone with Admin rights (one of the Devs or Pauline's team) to add a Wiki Viewer widget for you and insert the url to the document. From then on, you will be able to update the content of that widget by making changes to the document. "Featured Video Setup Doc" lets you embed a video - YouTube, Brightcove, or an image that links to a document somewhere on the site that contains the video - and that can also be put into a Wiki Viewer (in the skinny column) using the url. From then on, that widget can be updated by changing out the image/link or embedded video that is in that document.

Wiki Page: Featured Video Setup Doc

Wiki Page: Polls

Wiki Page: Documents

Forum: Forum
