Aha, thank you for your good observation about the polarity of the JST connector. I bought a bag of JST connectors to solder onto my bare LiPo batteries and was annoyed to find that the red/black wires were reversed. This explains it, it's made for a different device/voltage.

Your progress looks good, the finished product will be professionally done.

Very good looking build! There seems to be no end of ways in which a design nearing completion finds to throw you off the tracks. As in most projects there are always more things to do, than time to do them in.
