This would allow me to know what part of the code was running with simple println&amp;#39;s. It worked in theory, but in practice it was hard to scale in any usable manner on the time scale&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m using a µCurrent for these purposes too. If I want to measure current in a particular part of the program, I use a free GPIO pin and drive it up before the code part and low after.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You can use that extra signal as trigger for your scope, and as signal A. Signal B would be the µCurrent output.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You can then see the consumption, and find the interesting part back easily.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you want to measure a sleep mode, take care to flip the pin before the controller goes to sleep, and flip back at wake-up.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.element14.com/aggbug?PostID=8553&amp;AppID=247&amp;AppType=Weblog&amp;ContentType=0" width="1" height="1"&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
