This is a very cool project and very well implemented. It reminds me of the Nintendo LABO kits. Add a Nintendo Switch interface and you'll have a nice build your own Dum-De-Dum kit.

Love this! Any time I see a concert I'm always trying to figure out what equipment everyone on stage is using, and I'm pretty sure this would leave me fascinated. And I love the velocity sensitivity, that's so important to making electronic drum parts feel more human and musical.

What type of pressure sensor have you used? We have recently built a staircase piano and just used a Makey Makey as well as some cardboard, aluminum foil and some foam to create a very cheap pressure-activated contact, see this videos: Campusdate 2018

I have an old Radio Shack keyboard with a drum set in it.

Now you have me wanting to take it apart to see how they did the drum sensors.

Hi Enrico,

Very inventive. I am really curious what it will sound like. I am guessing the pressure sense will control the amplitude and the initial input will trigger the output of a designed waveform to mimic a specific drum.
